The
loyalty and work ethic exhibited by employers and employees within the
American business culture dramatically changed following World War II.
Prior to World War II, and even throughout the 1940's and 1950's,
employees who joined companies planned to remain with those businesses
for their professional lives, retiring from them after decades of
service.
The current business culture in the United States appears quite
different than that of the post-World War II era. Corporate mergers,
reorganization, and downsizing have contributed to an increasing level
of mobility among employees; in fact, employer/employee "loyalty" has a
very different definition today than it did just a few years ago.
Today's professionals are trained early in their careers to expect to
change jobs several times in their lives.
Gregory Laka & Company understands today's evolving business culture and
is dedicated to securing the best and brightest talent available in the
industry for its clients. We make every effort to match highly skilled
professionals with businesses that will maximize a job candidate's
potential, thereby laying the foundation for a long-term employment
relationship between the candidate and the client. By providing
successful and rewarding executive search experiences for both our job
candidates and our business clients, Gregory Laka & Company aims to
instill the values of partnership and loyalty into today's business
culture. |
